Coronado Beaches
Wide and uncrowded, Coronado beaches are the perfect
outdoor playgrounds for kids and adults. The
Southern California weather is temperate and from
mid-April through late September the water is warm
and the surf mild. The sand appears to sparkle,
which is actually the presence of the mineral Mica,
also known as sugar sand. Here is a list of the most
popular sandy spots:

homes and mansions all the way south to the Shores
Condominiums. Restrooms and shower facilities.

Hall, the Glorietta Bay Beach offers a unique view
of the Glorietta Bay and the San Diego Coronado

grass-filled park, restrooms, playground equipment,
and fire rings.
Silver Strand State Beach
Located 4.5 miles south of Coronado Village along
the Silver Strand. Fire rings, lifeguards,
restrooms, and showers. An underpass allows access
to bayside beach and picnic area and Loews Coronado
Bay Resort. Hours vary by season. $8 parking fee.
