Legislative Committee
Study, analyze and make recommendations on
governmental issues and legislation affecting
business and military
affairs. Hosts Eggs & Issues forums.
Public Relations & Membership Committee
Enhance the image of the Chamber of Commerce through
marketing avenues such as press/media releases,
promotional materials and programs. Provide
input for Chamber publications such as the Wedding
Guide, Business Start-Up materials and Membership
packets. Increase the Chamber's representation
of the business community through recruitment of new
members and retention of existing members.
Provide support to the Events Committee in planning
and promotion of Chamber and community events such
as Sundowners, Candidates Forums, President's
Breakfasts, Ribbon Cuttings and other appropriate
activities.
Military Ball Committee
Event date is
March 27, 2010. Assist staff in preparation
for annual Salute to the Military Ball.Golf Tournament Committee
Event date to be announced. Assist staff in
preparation and gathering sponsorship and
participation for annual Golf Tournament.
Special Events Committee
Installation Dinner is Thursday, July 22, 2010.
Holiday Open House & Parade is Friday, December
3,
2010. Assist in all aspects of preparation for Chamber
Events, including: Holiday Open House & Parade and
Installation of new Board of Directors, and
Sundowners. |
